The Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners recently awarded County Contract - 9217-2/25 to All Hands Consulting and other pre-qualified firms. This is an Emergency Management & Homeland Security Professional Services Contract. Other units of government, educational institutions and non-profit organization can access this contract following the information provided below.
Request for Quotations:
Pre-qualified Pool members will be invited to participate in a Request for Quotations process for requested services when price is the only criteria. If the quote is accepted and within the guidelines established, the department will issue a purchase order to the selected vendor. All vendors who successfully prequalified for the group in question must be invited to
participate.
Work Order Process:
When the need arises for pre-qualified Pool members with specific experience, members will participate in a Work Order process. The County will prepare a scope of work and provide the Pool members with information regarding the selection process and response requirements, potentially to include written proposals and/or oral presentations. Recommendations for
Work Order awards will be competitive, generally based on quality and/or price. The County may negotiate each Work Order award or may award a Work Order on the basis of initial offers received.
